The Canadian Angus Foundation was incorporated in 1993. The Foundation has experienced steady growth with a focus on research, historical preservation, education and youth development. The work of the Canadian Angus Foundation is carried out by volunteers and is funded by generous donations from Angus breeders and industry groups.
The Canadian Angus Foundation functions to preserve and expand the Angus breed for future generations through education, youth development, scientific and market research, and historical preservation and restoration.
The Canadian Angus Foundation was established in 1993 as a charitable organization under Revenue Canada guidelines. The Foundation allows for tax-deductible support to be offered for the development of the Angus breed. The Canadian Angus Foundation focuses on four main areas:
